Even if this slanted story is true, this is not “election interference.” Fail to see how asking for help in an ongoing investigation is untoward. There is no “help me find dirt on an opponent” propaganda angle here.

Exactly. This is no different than asking a country to extradite a person to this country for legal reasons. Happens all the time.
