Roto standings through 60 games (h2h standings)

1. Swamie (2)
2. Earl (4)
3. Cwill (5)
4. Papzy (6)
5. Wisey (1)

Roto standings through 162 (h2h finish in parenthesis)

1. Cwill (3)
2. Swamie (1)
3. Papzy (2)
4. Earl (4)
5. Omt (7)

Wisey only dropped out the top 5 bc of the sell off. And if you played another 60 games, it’s probably the same teams in a different order

I don’t understand the thought that the best teams still won’t flourish. Treat it like a regular season if you ask me

Not a big enough sample size would be the main reason. I'm fine going by whatever the committee decides though.

To me a season is a season. We're crowning a champion, sample size or not.

That's my thinking.

So someone explain to me why the draft order for 2021 shouldn't go by the 2020 standings?

Going Roto in a shortened season might lead to some randomness in the final standings? I am fine with whatever.

Boo is in. He mentioned it on the last page

I mean swamie would’ve won the roto league through 60 games last year. He was 2nd in H2H standings at the time

Ended up 1st in H2H overall and 2nd in roto through 162 games

I think you're asking for $154 buy-in, correct?

The committee was not opposed to that. We just felt to get all 20 of our league members to participate, it would be best to pro-rate this league's buy-in for one season.

Now, if we can vote unanimously for a $154 buy-in. That would certainly change our decision.

I'm okay with it, I'll likely be at the bottom anyway... it's just going to be a weird season regardless.

ETA: Did you guys see that they are going to implement the runner on 2nd to start all extra innings?

Are we going without a trade deadline this season?

Bottom line, it's going to be a fricking crazy, short fantasy baseball season with more challenges to come for all of us to deal with.

Just look at the recent covid numbers. We're nowhere near out of the woods, and, in fact, the numbers are trending back up. It is a certainty that a player or players on multiple teams will test positive during the season and either the player(s) or the whole team will miss games. MLB has to be thinking about all of this or they're just punting the issue until it comes up...considering their general ineptitude probably punting.

End of the day, I don't care, let's have some fun with what we've got and not sweat the details...we're talking about $57 at stake...your PPP wages should keep you bums ridin' high and easy.

if roto, i believe that should be the answer. but we'll discuss that as a committee

Anybody got any other questions/concerns they would like for the committee to decide on?

Just waiting on CQQ.

Assuming he is in, I'd like to give big props to the committee for working together to come up with a plan. Fine work.
