3.5 & 112”

No mass, short brow tines, no belly, flat nose. Give him 2 years with proper nutrition and he’ll be 140ish.

3 or 4. This time of year it's still a bit tough to age. He is 120ish. Could be a bit more or less.

120"ish. The crab claws make it essentially an 8pt scoring wise, and a 125" 8pt is somewhat rare.

He's 3.5+ but that's as specific as you can get. Hell he could be 9 or he could be 3. Unless you're on a heavily managed property though, I'm leaning younger.

I've given up aging deer. I've read enough studies that prove after 2.5 yrs it is impossible to age deer without a jaw or tooth analysis. All the things people go by: short face, big belly, sway back, etc.... are really poor indicators in aging deer. Best way is to document them year after year but that's difficult without a lot of control over where you're hunting.

Let me just add to Coco's post which I think is pretty spot on. Both of these were tooth aged.
To put it in perspective this deer seems to be pretty close rack wise to what yours except he missed the crab claws. He gross scored 119 7/8 at 2.5 years old 8pt.

This one is a 3.5 year old that scored gross scored 128 4/8 as a 9pt.

So I'm still sticking with 3.5 120ish.

Don’t take the downvoting personal. There’s some folks that must get their kicks doing it. No matter the score and age, they’re just numbers. You kill what you’re into and screw what the arm chair QBs say.

Yea I agree 3.5 or could be 4.5. But what amazes me is that OP would think this deer would break 130. Blows my mind that people cannot figure a basic score on hoof. Folks it takes some bone on the head to break 130"
