Looking to get a Bush or hedge planted that would hide pool equipment. It would have to be pretty large because the tallest piece of the equipment is around 6’ tall from ground.

Red tip photinias are nice. They like lots of sun

I need to do the same although I was planing to put up a 6 foot tall shadow box cedar fence on 3 of the 4 sides. I wonder if a some dwarf cultivar of a pyramidal-shaped arborvitae that maxes out at 6-8 feet in height might work. Something that looks like this

i like eleagnus. Gets about 8', fast-growing, pretty silver/gray color, fragrant blooms in fall. Depending on location might require some pruning.

hedge selection from LSU Ag Center

Needlepoint Holly is a good choice. Don't dplant Red Tip Phontinia as there is a disease killing them off.

For a 3-to-5-foot hedge, consider dwarf yaupon holly, Chinese mahonia, dwarf sasanqua, dwarf oleander, azaleas, Indian hawthorn, nandina and Rotunda holly.
For hedges 6 to 10 feet tall, consider ligustrum, cleyera, camellia, sasanqua, oleander, dwarf Burford holly, gardenia, pittosporum and Indian azaleas.
For taller hedges and screens, look at Savannah holly, Dahoon holly, banana shrub, sweet olive, Japanese viburnum, sweet viburnum, Japanese yew, ligustrum, cherry laurel, loropetalum, Russian olive or elaeagnus, pineapple guava, Needlepoint holly, Nellie R. Stevens holly, wax myrtle and yaupon holly.

Eleagnus is what you want, grows fast, thick and is very hardy. Requires no watering or fertilizing. It will get big though, if not pruned.

Viburnum is awesome / grows fast and is dense and evergreen and no pollen like ligustrum / easy to deal with
