Just wondering if anyone is out there in the Pumpkin Center area has Consumer Cellular service. How is it? Good reception? Good customer service? I'm curious about the service in rural areas. Thanks....

Eleagnus. Grows very fast. Lovely silver color on back of leaves. Flowers in fall are very fragrant. It will grow 8 feet tall or send out even longer stray shoots. It can be pruned back but I've always let mine go natural. If planted about 6-8 feet apart it provides a full screen....

I've planted them almost everywhere I've lived in SE La. Fast growth and very reliable for red berries in winter. The robins usually eat all the berries pretty quickly when they arrive. But nice for their shape and size and color....

I don't live in NOLA anymore. Did Teddy's in Gentilly ever come back post-Katrina? They had the best roast beef po-boys I've ever had. And you could get a whole loaf po-boy - perfect for parties and football days.

i like eleagnus. Gets about 8', fast-growing, pretty silver/gray color, fragrant blooms in fall. Depending on location might require some pruning....
Now that all the Hancock's stores have closed where can I find good fabric to sew dressy clothes? The only sources for any fabric around Ponchatoula are Hobby Lobby and Wal-Mart and they sell mostly cotton for quilting or casual clothes. I like challis a lot but don't know where to shop for it.
