when a team scores quickly, the opponent will get more tries and the D will be on the field more... they will score more.
i.e.
10% of 33 offensive plays = 3.3 scores
10% of 44 offensive plays = 4.4 scores
even if keeping opponents to a low offensive output.

the downside of quick scoring.

Is that better or worse than 38 to Vanderbilt?

Worst. LSU defense gave up 24 to Vandy and 100 less yards. You can also make a case that Vandy has more offensive weapons than Ole Miss

Bama outscored Ole Miss by 28. LSU outscored Vandy by 28. UGA only beat Vandy by 24 and only scored 30 pts FWIW.

Vandy was a weak Vandy team with two Defensive TD's

Ole Miss started a true freshman QB against Bama in Tuscaloosa whose last start was in HS.

Not much to see here...

I bet Saban is melting about the defense. He has melted for less. He isnt some "oh well we won" coach. You should know this by now.

If you watched the game it was never close and had backups in game. Was never really a threat

Thread is about Ole Miss-Bama, not LSU-Vanderbilt. ;)

2 of the touchdowns were against bamas backups though so I wouldn’t really count them

It appears our game with them this season could be a shootout which bolds well for us. Of course, because we think that it could easily turn into a defensive slugfest. As is tradition
