Abraham wanted Trump to drop out POTUS race, now desperately wants to win over deplorables

“Donald Trump's comments are offensive and indefensible," Abraham said. "I would never want either of my daughters or my granddaughters spoken about or treated in that way. He was right to apologize for his remarks, but at this point he should strongly consider his path going forward. Hillary Clinton has proven over her 30-year political career of destructive policies and poor judgement that she is unfit for the White House. She cannot be allowed to win the presidency, so Mr. Trump should consider whether he needs to step aside and allow Gov. (Mike) Pence to lead our party to victory in November for the good of the country."
He wanted Pence to be the candidate. He was a Never Trumper. Now he realizes he need the deplorable vote and is now trying to be MAGA all of a sudden. Louisiana’s own Lindsey Graham. A snake opportunist. You think someone like that is gonna be immune to the special interests and lobbyists in Baton Rouge?

What's a New York City resident doing lecturing Louisiana conservatives about who they should vote for in a race that has no effect on him?

Anyone who was so weak in those trying times, does not deserve the governorship

Also, already has a history of broken campaign promises and is absent for a load of votes in the House. Can’t be bothered to do in Congress (the easiest job in the world) what he was elected to do. If Louisiana puts Abraham in a run off instead of Rispone, Louisiana deserves to have 4 more years of JBE/Jindal tax and spend, business as usual.

Wife’s family is in the state. I graduated from LSU. I’ve spent a lot of time learning the politics of Louisiana on this board. Concerned spectator is all I am. And as a MAGA enthusiast, I don’t want filth like Abraham infiltrating the movement under the false song of Never Trumpism.

He wanted to do in 2016 what he did every day in his doctor’s office. Give us a pain killer.

Lol there is nothing conservative about Louisiana politicians.
You obviously hold out hope Sentrius for these fake career long pieces of shite. None of them are the answer to fixing Louisiana’s problems.
Neither are the Dems.
Hopefully someone can come along during my time and actually completely transform the state.

For a second I thought you were calling me an idiot. Yeah, Abraham was the Justin Amash before Justin Amash was Justin Amash

Of course you're swallowing the liberal narrative from GumboPac and JBE's pals.
Newsflash dude. Democrats and Republicans in the house run for statewide races all the time all over the country. It's nothing new and Abraham has actually missed less votes than other Louisiana Congressmen that ran for statewide office.
That critique is weak sauce.

Like a dumbass I was thinking of voting for him.
Posted on 9/26/19 at 6:02 pm to Parmen
You are an outsider trying to influence an election with lies.
Posted on 9/26/19 at 6:02 pm to Parmen
Said he should consider it, not suggesting he do it.
Quit acting like MSM.

If he can’t show up for every vote, then he needs to resign. He’s missing votes, but he for sure isn’t missing any government paychecks. Oh wait, I thought he was supposed to donate those lol.

Nah, he is "undecided"

You are the same as a California Democrat trying to prop up Beto

That’s it. I’m gonna vote JBE so he can raise my taxes even more.
Stay dumb Louisiana
