This Makes Me Sick: Viral Iowa State fan from Gameday Targeted

So, remember this?
This Iowa State fan got internet famous for putting his Venmo out asking for beer money when College Gameday was in Ames for the Cy-Hawk game. The donations started pouring in, and the fan decided to donate everything to the University of Iowa hospital.
The makers of Busch Light capitalized, and said they would match the donations, so the money really started pouring in.
Then some loser at a newspaper in Iowa started looking into the young man, and found that eight years ago, he quoted a TV show on Twitter. That TV show Tosh.0 is still on the air, but this man must be punished.

I can't wait for the entire "journalism" profession to die. They're all scumbag pieces of shite who don't even deserve the $30k they make each year.

The ridiculous part of this is how they reporter and the paper try to act like combing through a guy's tweets going back EIGHT frickING YEARS to early high school is normal behavior. Like, "OMG, we sort of have to report this so people know" crap.
Oh pahleez. The scrub was 100% DESIGNED to look for this type stuff.

They're absolutely taking a massive beating over this. They have an entire article now on their front page trying to act like they don't deserve the backlash they're receiving.
