My husband and I are bringing the kids to the Arkansas game.. and I have this crazy idea to either drive an RV down and stay on campus.. or (because we have no experience driving an RV) is there a company that'd have an RV already in a spot on campus, and we could just rent? Anyone ever done this? Or does this sound like a terrible idea?

you won't be able to bring your rv on campus. those that do, have paid for the right to do so. find a campground nearby and take a shuttle/uber to campus.

Go here to rent an RV. Just make sure it has a generator, as there are NO HOOKUPS at LSU

I used to use a local company for that for several years, it was a great set up, they would actually go out early on a Friday morning and wait for the lots to open(I would send them the parking pass in advance,) and get a premium spot, and have the RV waiting for you whenever you showed up. TAF killed the best part of that but I would bet they're still around, they have several RVs, can't think of the name right now but I think they were out of Denham Springs, if I can dig up a name I'll post it

cruiseAmerica.com is a good one to rent from. We have used them many times. We have come to the Spring game in an RV many times and can park where the rich people park during the season. LOL RV passes for Arkansas should be available.
If not, try Farr Park off of River Road and uber to the game.

the thing I liked about the company I was using was the convenience, the RV is waiting, air conditioner running, all you had to do was provision it, they would even come by periodically to fuel the generator if needed, and you'd have your own vehicle for going around town, I never touched the steering wheel of one of those RVs
