Meh, this situation is in the same vein as "protect yourself at all times" in boxing. Don't drop your gloves and this won't happen. Can't rely on "unwritten rules." And the game was tied.

They should be more upset about the following play where 3 Houston defenders whiffed on the tackle and gave up the winning TD.

I had a feeling some people were going to stay stuff.
The only time you are going to do a fake is in a tie game situation. And I think the defense has to be ready for that, in a tie game situation.

Its one thing to go someone's legs in a victory formation and another to get caught sleeping when the game is tied.
