yeah the NBL schedule is weird.
the entire season is a round by round tournament and they only play once a week

sydney won last friday, didi didn't play

Apparently he’s looked pretty good defensively.

I think it should be anticipated that he struggles a bit early. He’s a rookie in a new league with a large jump up in competition in a foreign country.

NBL is a good league. By the end of the season you want to see his progression to being a very good player in that league.

He's not a guy that will be taking 12 shots - so I'm not worried about that. I'm super encouraged to see him affecting the game on the boards and passing... his defense is damn near NBA ready. He's going to be really good right out of the gate next year IMO.... Idk what were gonna do with all these players and picks

I’m thinking we should donate them to charity, like Charlotte or Phoenix for example.

Time for an update on Didi. The team is 5-0 and it looks like he's having some decent games.

10/25 in a sydney win

14 pts/3 reb/1 ast/1 stl in 22 minutes
67% FG%

averaging 11 pts/5 reb/2 ast/1 stl in 26 mins
not shooting well (32%)

It's no different from the NBA really. Each team plays another team 3 or 4 times during the season then it's playoffs. It's not a 'round by round tournament' each week.

Also teams often play twice in the same round.

Looks like he’s starting to get comfortable. We should continue to see his box score stats trend up.

Where do you see his stats?
Main thing I’m interested in his box score is 3s

14/29 from 3 or 48% LINK

Oddly enoungh he's shooting much worse from 2, 43% overall FG%.
