DVR'd it and watched it this afternoon. In my opinion it's a very solid start. I love the slasher sub-genre of horror but I find myself wondering how they are going to stretch this premise for a full season, especially with such a small cast as this.

Other slasher anthology shows like Harper's Island had a large ensemble getting killed off on an island, thus they could hide the fact that there was a psychopath among them for several episodes.

Solid start, as I said before, but I'm wondering how they can keep this going for 8-10 episodes.

Love it so far. Incredible score. Some of the shots even look old style and grainy. Cheesy in all the right places. Great 80s music.

Finally a season of AHS without agendas and politics. Just dumb fun 80s slasher. Excited for the season.

Yeah, as many people as they slashed up in one episode, could be quite a body county by the end.

By episode 4 they’ll be in outer space.

They got to have time to fit all the gay sex scenes in, common. I predict episode 3 will be enough time to get everyone interested and then switch into propaganda mode.

I thought the same thing. I imagine they’ll fill a ton of time with the “how they got here” storylines, as multiple characters are on the run from something that has seemingly nothing to do with the slasher.

Regardless, solid start. I watched the original Friday the 13th last week and they definitely used a handful of scenes directly from that movie and they worked well. You didn’t know anything about the counselors on Friday the 13th, and the show seems to be that with back stories / B arcs for the cast.
