It only looks acceptable because the model is attractive and fit. It would look incredibly affected on 95% of guys. The clashing of formality between the elements reads like someone who doesn’t know how to dress himself.
IMO, most guys over 35 wear things that make them look 75 because they have the physical fitness of a 75 year old. They could wear anything and their ceiling would be “average” at best.
