I thought I would get this post back on the front page for people to add to it with the love that Kirk H gave Justin today!

I would like to give a shout and a salute to the Jefferson family!!!

It is not a secret that Jordan was maligned at LSU for what I believe wasn't truly his fault! I think Miles didn't allow Jordan to excel in what he did best!

Anyway the family, as a whole, could have said FU to LSU and gone elsewhere but they didn't! They are true blue LSU and I can't thank them enough!!!

Here is to you Jordan, Rickey & Justin Jefferson, thank you for all you have done for our beloved Fighting LSU Bengal Tigers!!! You and your entire family are true Tigers and LSU and LSU students, staff, coaches alumni and fans are blessed that you and your family are that way!!!

And if you read this post please do one thing in honor of their family, and the parents who are true blue LSU also, please just post something let's make this thread so big it gets back to them to show them our gratitude and the fact that what their family has done for LSU football is recognized by the LSU family!

Agreed. They all played/play their hearts out for LSU.

Les should get the blame for 1/9, not Jordan.

Would’ve been interesting to see guys like Jefferson, Harris, Lee, etc. from that era in an offense like this. I’m not saying they all would’ve been great, but we had a LOT of highly rated QB recruits go through that offense and end up looking like they didn’t belong on a college football field

I sat in the player guest section quite a few times between 2008-2011. Rickey and Justin sat there and listened to some pretty outrageous stuff said about their brother - both from other player guests and the student section to their left.

They have my utmost respect for coming here after all of that.

I completely agree.

The Jefferson family needs to be considered LSU royalty. They’ve earned it.

Really appreciate a family that is true to themselves and others. The Jefferson family are top notch, unlike other families that say one thing and do another...
Thank you Jefferson family !!!

Jordan beat Saban twice in his career.

How many college qbs have that claim nationwide?

I support this thread 100%.

Both Jordan and Ricky (but more particularly Jordan) were not used in a capacity to maximize their strengths.

That is not their fault, at all. I can remember seeing both pretty regularly drummed on by fans, and as disheartening as it was to see it, those men only played their asses off and gave 100% on and off the field.

They have my respect forever.

It has made me much more mindful of what I say about players.
