9 percent of black students attends hbcu.

Segregation is fine by me
Problem is that everyone is fine with blacks or Latinos or Asians segregating into their own communities. When euro-Americans consider a similar action, it is suddenly exclusionary and not ok.

Ben Watson isn't wrong; there isn't much in Hill's article that can be seen as promoting segregation. It's more a speculative article as to how HBCUs could be invigorated if black athletes chose to attend them instead of P5 schools. It's a pipe dream, of course, HBCUs do not have the infrastructure
Most NFl teams don't spend the money on lockerrooms / facilities that some P5 colleges like Oregon,Alabama , LSU,etc... Let alone HCBUS. 17/18 year old kids , especially, are impressionable.

And he didn't need a $40-$70$ million dollar locckerooms & over the top facilities like P5's , weekly televised games or Nick Saban. It's always been a pet peeve of mine that some people truly believe these kids need P5 schools to best achieve their NFL goals.
If 4/5 athletes chose Alabama State( nice facilities) & Alabama A&M over the Crimson Tide then NFL scouts would descend upon those schools.
