We have 2 stud QBs committed.

At this point, tough to say that considering the struggles they continue to have in their senior seasons.

What was Johnson’s stat line Friday night?

Edit - sorry posted Finley first
Finley was 10/29 for 2 picks
Johnson had a great night, 12/19 for 214 yards 4 TD....it was against an awful team though I will say. All 4 TDs went to his brother the TE we also have offered

Have you seen him play?
He isn't the answer
Ohio St didn't think Joe was the answer either, which is why he landed at LSU.
Brennan has all the tools, the question is can he be developed like Joe has been? I am betting he can be. I am betting we will see improvement in him this year.
I'd like to see him work on his touch. Work on been smoother, confident. And hopefully being around Joe, he will get how important the cerebral part of the game is.

oh do we?
Quit being a chode, you have been around long enough to know what you’re asserting isn’t going to happen, regardless of how good or bad our current commits are. QBs commit early and stick as a general rule, and as good as we’ve looked we did not invent the forward pass. This is a great place to be going forward, but dj uiagalelei ain’t walking through the door this year.

No that's because Ohio State had a 1st round pick ahead of Joe.

False. Ohio Stae coaches and players almost unanimously have said Joe WAS the answer, but they had another answer in Haskins, and only one could be the guy.

Is it too late to grab a big name at this point, and how loyal is the staff to the two current QB commits.
Whoa whoa - it's not a question of loyalty - it's a question of morality when you talk this way.....would rather have second tier QB than a coaching staff that can't keep its word -

At least he broke 60%.
Both guys have their warts, I just think they’re coachable and the upside is there with both, and for the first time in a long time I think we have time to find out.

They both just struggle when the pads go on with accuracy it seems. If we had some QB guru, I'd feel better about it, buttttt

Joe Brady is the difference maker here.
Double the guy's salary and make him co-Offensive Coordinator next year. Seeing what he does in year two with Myles will be even more important to attracting future top QBs.
You've got to remember that not every High School has all of the pieces to make a candidate look like a superstar coming in. That can be scheme, receivers that drop quality throws, lack of quality in developing lineman at the HS level to provide adequate protection. As such, knowing whether a HS QB "has it" is very much an inexact science. I like that Orgeron wants to be most attracted to outstanding character in what becomes leaders of your team.
This around to the 5 star transfer [now] wide receiver at Miami who doesn't seem to have that desired character. I would anticipate Orgeron sees the desired character in our current two QB recruits.
If Brady is the "mad scientist" that can take candidates and develop them into what Burrow has seemingly become, that will bring the long term success.

Finley had a Td pass.. if you're gonna bring out stats, bring out all the stats

I do not see Myles Brennan as the future LSU QB for the next few years, not sure where you are getting this from.
Posted on 9/9/19 at 1:20 pm to The Egg
We are aiming for
Caleb Williams 247 (5* #1 Dual Threat)
Demetrius Davis 247
Garret Nussmeier 247 (stocks been flying upwards, will end as a top 100 recruit)
Someone we should push for - Preston Stone 247
