I generally keep it simple with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.

For a gallon bag of meat:
About a cup of worchester sauce about a 1/4 cup of soy sauce. Some red pepper flakes till it looks right prolly about 5-6 tablespoons. Some brown sugar about 2 tablespoons. And about 1/8 cup or so of liquid smoke.
Let marinate overnight if it don’t look right add some Tony’s. Then smoke or dehydrate.
It don’t really matter at least not for me because the kids don’t Hardly let it get completely dried before they have eaten it all.

Put it all in! Best single ingredient if you don't put in too much, which will ruin the jerky is... liquid crab boil.

Can’t beat it plus it has the cure in it which I think makes a huge difference. I make duck and goose jerky during the winter with this and never had anyone turn it down. If you don’t use a cure it will mold very quick even if you put it in the fridge

Half moores half weistishire and add some liquid smoke. Also add red pepper to desired heat. It is that simple and you just marinade pieces for about an hr and people will ask about your secrets and how you are better than jack links.

dehydrator is far better than how some people try to oven dry and what not

Any of the allegro marinades. Hot & spicy and Tennessee whiskey are my personal favorites.

you'll be fine flavoring it creatively...

just as long as you don't grind it(ruin) and use a jerky gun
