It's just an antenna, no "HD" necessary.

I assume you need to pick up the nola station? You might need one of the big Yagi type antennas, and it might need to be mounted outside and high off the ground.

Look around town and see if you notice any antennas, and see how high they are.

Or you might get lucky and one of the small "leaf" style antennas inside by a window might pick it up.

If you come across an SD antenna I’d be impressed!

Just look for an antenna that has an amplifier.

Unless you’re in BFE needing to pick up stations 80+ Miles away. Then we need more info

You probably don’t even need an amplifier if the stations you want to catch are within 15-20 miles from you.

Make sure the antenna says it picks up High VHF and UHF. Some of ‘HD” antennas are UHF only because the majority of HD signals are broadcast in the UHF frequencies but some, like WAFB and WBRZ are in the high VHF range. Most of the antennas will pick those up but I have had one that would not. Here is an image of channel availability in Houma. Good news for you is that pointing your antenna due north will probably be adequate to pull in almost all stations you can receive.

You could probably mount this in your attic, it’s available at Walmart in Houma.

I have an older version of this in my attic, also available at Houma Walmart. I can pick up all the BR and LC stations in Lafayette with it.
