What a shame Hinch didn’t think of pinch hitting Brantley for marisnick with first and second and no outs to face a righty. I’m sure he’ll be on deck though in the 9th as the last out is made.

He missed the hanger two pitches before. Kid has been magnificent to this point. But teams are finding ways to get him out in the last two weeks. Changeups down in the zone. Fastballs up in the zone and fastballs right down the pipe when he’s expecting something off speed.
