In all fairness to your point, that ain't the way things are SUPPOSED to work. It's akin to convicting a guy for a crime he didn't commit because "he has done lots of things we didn't catch him doing." I always hated guys that said stuff like that. I have a pretty strict view on justice. You should be tried and convicted for things you have done and not general character or things the government thinks you did.
