Another movie with a massive gulf between critic and audience scores. It's a mindless action movie, but a well paced action movie with good action doesn't have to be Shakespeare.

I liked the other two movies. Like you said mindless action with a competent storyline

I enjoyed the heck out of it.
I know it’s not an all time great franchise but we’ll actively watch the first two when they’re on. This was my favorite of the 3.

Critics have always hated action movies, which is a shame because those flicks should be respected within their genre.
When I go to see a comedy I want laughs. If I get those then it was a good comedy. I want to be scared at a horror movie. I want to be entertained by an action movie. If I get the viewing experience I wanted from a movie I'm a happy camper.
I am reminded of what online movie critic Lindsey Ellis said about Independence Day. "Dumb. As. Rocks. But I love it!"

I liked the first movie and finally got around to watching London has Fallen over the weekend thinking I was not going to like it but ended up liking it a lot. Hopefully, the 3rd movie wont disappoint.

Find critics with similar tastes as you, see if they've sold their soul, and if not just do your own RT scores.

Saw it this weekend. It was a great addition to the series. I love the whole enemy of the state story but I was shocked at how little benefit of the doubt he got. The guy literally saved the last president twice against terrorists and gets no one to back him up.
Nolte was great as his father. I couldn't understand half of what he said with his gruff voice but whatever.
I would be fine if they kept making more of these. As he gets older he could just train up the next wave of secret service guys and just help out when they get overwhelmed.

Haven't seen the movie but this was my thought while watching the previews. Guess they didn't address that at all

While it’s suspect that he wouldn’t get the benefit of the doubt, they do a pretty decent set up that merits suspicion of his motives and remove pieces of the puzzle that could clear him of wrong doing. Still a stretch.
Hopefully that’s not too spoilerish.

I remember watching London has Fallen and getting pissed that so many innocent people were being killed and so much of the city was being destroyed because of a vendetta between 2 men. It was a good flick though.

Saw it last night and it was a lot better than I had expected. A good time was had.
And Nolte's character.
