Back Porch Grill for the best steak in Hot Springs.

Deluca's and Rolando's are my favorite spots to eat in town (if the weather is decent, request a table on Rolando's patio). If taking kids, check out the science museum of mid-america.

My wife's parents have a time share there, so used to go a good bit, less so now. Age group? Kids?
Back porch grill is good as mentioned above.
Fisherman's wharf has ducks and the food is decent. La hacienda has decent Mexican food.
If an older group, there are some decent brewery's downtown now at the bathhouses and decent bar stops. There's magic springs amusement park.
There's the tower, which is worth doing prolly once with some Clinton facts and a good view of the city area.
Usually there a few different people offering sunset boat rides and drinks etc.
There used to be a steam boat on the lake(it might still be there).

Make reservations at the private baths
German restaurant is really good, forgot the name.
Spend a day on the strip and a day outside paddling or some such activity. Good weekend.

I was just there for a week last week. It was pretty lame, one of my least favorite vacation spots I’ve been to.

Craft Beer Cellar on the south end of the tourist area is a neat place with both retail package sales and a bar with several taps. Plenty of tables to sit at and enjoy some brews.

My kids loved the Wegner quartz and crystal mine. Found some really cool stones for the garden!
