LLWS ump must be related to the Blind Saints ref!

Two crappy calls in a row against Louisiana overturned
Edit: Trying to decide if my down voters are family members of crappy officials, or just New Jersey boosters.
Those bad calls would have cost the River Ridge, Louisiana Boys 2 runs!

Nipped that mini rally in the bud!

You could see the LA 1st base coach's frustration with that ump on the second call. His reaction was basically "is this guy serious??"

The first one was egregious, but the second was epic suckage! Home plate didn’t even watch the whole replay before overturning it.

Shortstop should have been covering third on that play. LA was lucky the 3B had the wherewithall to get back where he could make the second play after bobbling the ball and making a hell of a throw.
SS was standing there watching the play. Just goes to show you that even at this high of a level, they are still kids.
Its super fun to watch the games with my kids.

Yeah that first base ump was terrible.
Made two bad calls at first that were obviously safe, and the foul ball call at the end of the game that LA dropped should have been call fair.
He didn't have a good game.

I watched a couple of the regional games one night last year, needed filler on tv as i scoured the OT.
The umps were so bad that i finally gave up. A team was fighting to come back, and ump called strikes on balls that were 1 footish to 1 1/2 foot outside the black. It was ugly.
Instead of 2 walks to score a run and keep rally going, it was 3-2 count, batter misses pitch outside, thinking its another bad call, and same for 3rd out. I felt bad, they were cheated of even trying to tie the game.

If you have ever watched LLWS, you would see that NOT very many of these umps are good. Most are VERY VERY VERY bad. The Little League does not pay their umpires so the league is at the mercy of volunteers. This includes the LLWS.
