I have to say I havnt heard much about this game before playing it but if you’re into a story driven game that relies on your decision making then this game is right up there! I surprised at how much fun it’s been so far!

finished it yesterday. I gotta say, in terms of scale and production value, it's awesome. an overwhelming amount of different paths and outcomes, great visuals, awesome score, and some solid performances. too bad the writing goes to complete shite about 1/3 of the way through in classic David Cage fashion.
all said and done, i enjoyed my time with it. probably my last Quantic Dream game though, Cage's writing just sucks cock

I know this might be a bit of a reach, but I kinda think the game might have been trying to say something about slavery and racism. You have to really hunt for the subtle clues, but I really believe there might be something to this.

Was this the same dev team as Until Dawn? Felt like it.
I hope they keep cranking ones like this out.

The guys who made Until Dawn are coming out with a game in September I think

I didn't like *Spoilers* Alice being an Android. Thought the story would've been much better if Android mom/dad raised human Alice.
The idea that they make perpetual child Androids is kind of creepy.

that was 100% thrown in at the last minute, absolute trash "twist." really soured that arc for me

It isn't much of a game but I thought it was a solid walking simulator / choose your own adventure. Acting and score were solid. Just a little too hamfisted on the plot.
It could get pretty damn dark if you made a couple of mistakes and ended with Alice and Tara in the concentration camp.

I think they did a solid job of creating several distinctly different paths but maybe made it a little too easy to get the happy ending. I doubt many people have played this more than once so they should have made the happy ending harder to get to keep folks interested in a replay.

I'm not a huge David Cage fan, though I did enjoy Heavy Rain.
I don't think the story was too hamfisted, I mean obviously it's David Cage level writing, but Androids are actually on the horizon and they would be treated this way. It wasn't great or original but it kept me interested.
The best part to me was reading the magazines everywhere and reading stuff like the invention of the blue blood, cyberlife's start, WW3 with the Arctic Circle as the center, androids as sports players, maybe running for President, etc.
The world building was excellent, and the visuals and dialog were pretty spot on.

I'm down. I bet she does butt stuff and she would lay naked under a goat and bathe in it's blood after I slit it's throat.

Not my style, but you do you bruh

I liked the game a lot but still contend the message was bludgeoned instead of more subtle.
I did think it was pretty realistic with sexbots and brutality. Exactly how most folks would use their tools. Sex drives innovation.
Heck, the bleak endings are probably closer to what would really happen. People jumped on the sentient robots a bit quicker than they actually would.

I cringed so hard during the robot walk through the streets.
I enjoyed the game for the most part, but it did get slow at times. Has a lot of great memes as well.
