Oh. RIP.
Does Raycom (owner of Fox 8) have planes?

If there are any survivors they will wish they had died in crash

If true, they either haven't told the Fox 8 team, or these are the most amazing professionals I have ever seen.

In wonder if she was doing some type of story? But if she was surely she would have had a camera man with her

Really a down vote? I fly out of Lakefromt at least once a week

Rob Masson said something interesting just now in his reporting... that there was a Fox 8 team (not sure the exact word he used) at Lakefront airport at the time of the crash and saw the crash.
He also said it was a 2 seater high performance plane, the type you see do acrobatic stunts.
I wonder if this is it on FlightAware

I really liked her when she was in Baton Rouge. I thought she was always very professional in her demeanor.
I hope it wasn't her.

Maybe you should stop driving your car since you’re more likely to die in a car accident than a private plane accident.
How are you defining that, miles travelled or by time. Because by time on these smaller planes, you're more likely to die by a 2 seater plane than by vehicle.
On commercial, you're correct, though.

Just to the East of the airport is the local practice facility

NOf trying to be that guy, but who is Nancy Parker?
Posted on 8/16/19 at 5:06 pm to LSUFanHouston
Just archived weather data at MSY. There were Distant Cumulimbus clouds SE-SW from MSY. Plane took off from Lakefront and crashed around 3:06 pm local time. 2 fatalities.
