He has an ankle injury. Cody Worsham said that someone stepped on his ankle in practice.

They're just being cautious as he doesn't really need the reps.

This isn't the NBA. If you get removed from practicing, you're going to lose your touch when you have to show out on the field.

Did you not read the posts above yours? There's no reason to speculate what's wrong with him, it's written above you.

I was responding to a post that wrote Chaisson was not injured and being held out for cautionary reasons.

I don't think that's a true statement. In my experience players in college who are not injured do not miss multiple practices in a row.

I am not in any way suggesting Chaisson has a serious injury that will make him miss the Texas game, I dont think that's the case. He might well just have a minor ankle sprain, I dont know, it sounds plausible.

I dont like camp news about injuries overblown, I dont like it sugarcoated either.

I am fine with the notion we have some key players missing practice with minor injuries. Thats different than some on here who keep insisting these players are missing multiple practices just to rest and have no injury.

I actually think the fact Kardell Thomas's injury got immediately reported as a serious injury lends credibility to the staff and supports the notion that the other injuries holding players out are not serious.
