Is the 1TB/mo of Cox “Straight Up” Internet enough for streaming?

I’m about to rage on U-Verse and the streaming networks offer us everything we watch.
We have one 1 TV and watch maybe 1 hour of TV total a day...only other internet usage would be our Abode alarm and Blink cameras that have minimal motion activation.
TIA

You should be fine. The people that complain about going over their limits usually are families with lots of simultaneous streams.

your AT&T account should have your usage data in it if you want to check what you have been using monthly.

I almost exclusively stream and I use about 400gb or so per month

I only watch streaming tv through hulu live while my daughters are constantly on their ipads and we range from 500 to 700 GB a month. I've never hit my 1TB cap

i hit that data cap halfway through the month without torrenting anything just running 4K netflix & 4K youtube.
i have 4 kids streaming some type of video plus instagram, yada yada and me & the wife watching 4K.
you will come to hate it soon enough if the majority of what you do is streaming.
they put that there to make it painful for people who ignore all their tv offerings so of course you're going to hit it with streaming.
more and more is being delivered in 4K HDR so that little allowance gets more meager by the day.

the other posters who said "I" dont hit the cap
well thats awesome you're the only one using it.
and without referencing if they're streaming 4K or not those other answers are also laughable.
i gave you the only real answer to your question.

We aren’t streaming 4K and watch maybe 1 hour of TV a day.
Price isn’t the issue. Streaming will actually cost us slightly more. I’m just tired of UVerse sending me refurb boxes that break every 6 months.
I’m also not finding a streaming service that offers all of our desired channels with cloud DVR. So all of this may be moot.

I have 2 people at my house watch 2 or 3 hours a day and usually end up around 800 I just try not to stream to much 4k stuff. I believe YouTube tv and hulu live tv both have cloud dvr.

So does sling. But none of them offer all 10-12 channels we watch. Each is missing 2-4 channels/stations.

Check out philo tv its 20 a month for 50 channels alot of people use this plus hulu/YouTube to cover missing channels in packages

An additional $20 and two networks makes this idea pointless.
