I'm a field tech rep for Ping, so I'm obviously going to tell you to get fit ,( although $250 for a fitting is astronomical). Find a demo day at a nearby course and you can get for no charge.

One thing. . .don't get enamored with low spin off the driver. At slower speeds you need some spin on the ball to keep it in the air. For the "average" golfer around 3000 is a good number.

Can't say enough about Callaway chrome balls, but there are so many goods available these days.

Come one man, that's not a proper fitting.

For a full bag? That's pretty reasonable, you are talking at least 3 hours. Plus, like i mentioned, usually most of it can go towards a purchase.

So you ride around to demo days with sky marked clubs in your trunk acting like you know how to fit people, cool.
