Soooooo....

They thought a guy hanging from a sheet had a heart attack?
No that's not what it means. They will call and inform of cardiac arrest anytime someone is found without a pulse. Ignorance is going to make this stupidity run wild.

.

Cardiac arrest has to have a cause. That is unless they're going to argue "sudden cardiac death" which can happen but seems highly improbable in this scenario.

And yes cardiac arrest is different from a myocardial infarction (heart attack) where there is a blockage in an artery. Cardiac arrest just means the heart stopped beating for one of a million possible reasons.

The ME is going to have to get in there and cut him open to get to the bottom of it. The question is will the autopsy be thorough and done by someone we can trust? Clinton's state ME in Arkansas was known to fudge cases back in the day.

bullshite.

I’ve called 911 a couple of dozen times to activate EMS. The way it works is that you provide as much pertinent information as you can and answer any questions that are asked by the 911 operator and they are relaying that information to EMS while they are in transit so they can hit the door with as much useful information as they can to speed up the provision of the appropriate care once they are on site.

No one is going to activate EMS for a hanging victim by reporting cardiac arrest.

Is a beach lifeguard gonna call 911 and report someone bitten half by a shark without a pulse as in cardiac arrest? Is a cop that comes up on an MVA with ejection and no pulse going to activate EMS reporting cardiac arrest?

GTFO.
