The Tigers used six different lineups in the first seven games under a new position coach, and the overall result yielded the program’s lowest yards-per-carry average in nearly 10 years, with sack and tackle-for-loss numbers in the bottom quarter of the country.

But four starters return, along with several key experienced backups. Overall depth and numbers are better than they’ve been in several years. The ingredients are in place for this line to take a jump into the top half of the SEC, but keeping a healthy and consistent lineup will be the key.

Tackles

77 Saahdiq Charles (Jr.) 6-4, 295
76 Austin Deculus (Jr.) 6-7, 322
74 Badara Traore (Sr.) 6-7, 320
73 Adrian Magee (Sr.) 6-4, 343
51 Dare Rosenthal (Fr.-RS) 6-7, 314
61 Cam Wire (Fr.-RS) 6-6, 300
75 Anthony Bradford 6-7, 355

Guards
71 Donovaughn Campbell (Jr.) 6-5, 360
70 Edward Ingram (So.)* 6-4, 314
68 Damien Lewis (Sr.) 6-3, 332
57 Chasen Hines (So.) 6-4, 336
58 Kardell Thomas 6-3, 329
78 Thomas Perry 6-6, 341

Centers
79 Lloyd Cushenberry (Jr.) 6-4, 315
69 Charles Turner (Fr.) 6-4, 266

Starting our position previews with the biggest question mark on offense for the Tigers.

I'm going to go ahead & say that part of that had to do with Brosseette being the least talented starting RB LSU has had in a long, long time.

You mean the guy who ran for 1000 yards?

Seems to me like the author nailed it. 6 starting lineups in 7 games is not how you establish chemistry/continuity.

The plus is that all of those starting combinations results in a good amount of game experience, which is crucial for OL. Should bode well for this season.

Brossette was a huge step down from Guice and Fournette but the OL was about as bad as it's been here in the past decade last season.

Quit replying to my posts talking LSU football. I know you are a Bama fan. If you are doing this to convince others then by all means continue.

I am a long time recruiting fan that goes by the mantra of "watch what they do and not what they say". You will NEVER convince me you are not a Bama troll. Your posts this past weekend were concrete evidence.

You’re such a shitty poster. Nice job picking one moment from 2 years ago to make an argument. Never mind the 50 yard touchdown run that set the tone in the season opener against Miami. Or numerous other solid performances last year.

There's no denying that Brossette was a huge step down to what us fans are used to. He was literally the starter by default. There's no need to fluff him. Any rb on the roster could've put up similar numbers (4.3 ypc)

Maybe he's improved from last season. If Wire, Rosenthal and Traore couldn't unseat him he must be doing something right or they are not as talented as the coaches thought they were.

NO he is NOT. He's a Bama troll. He does a damn good job of posting on this board.

He even has the perfect username. He can dog the shite out of the LSU program and the other Rantards just think he is panicking. They don't realize he is just here to make them panic. He is the perfect poster whether you like him and his troll game or not.

Okay, I respect you but this is pretty corny and is really stretching. I have given you props but you are getting ridiculous and trying TOO HARD now.

On 240 carries.

You have to go back to 2011 to find a year where our RB who was first in carries got under 5 ypc.
