That definitely has to be considered. Colston played with a clearly better group of receivers so the defense focus couldn’t always focus on him. For Thomas, especially the last two seasons, he by far our no.1 WR so teams knew who to focus on because they knew the ball was going to him.

In addition Brees is still very efficient but he isn’t the same passer (mainly deep ball passer) he was pre-2017.

Thomas had cooks to help in year 1 to be fair.

But he's shown that's he's clearly an elite wr#1

But colston got to work with a bunch of decent receivers.
