I know the yard by the Sunshine bridge has been closed due to the river being so high and them not being able to off load anything over the levee. I think there is a yard by the old bridge in Baton Rouge that is open. They are both Lafarge Limestone but not sure if they will have riprap size.

Yea I’ve called the majority of what google shows me. Most all of them don’t have any or only have crush concrete in riprap.

From my knowledge riprap size is about a baseball or softball size chunk

They had the gates open at the yard by the Sunshine bridge this morning and had a few people walking around the yard. They might be getting ready to reopen with the river going down. They do have a pile with large rocks there, but they are larger than softball size.

Anyone know what kind of pricing there is for the larger size rocks? Anyone ever bought any?

870ish a load for tri-axle. I would call general sand/gravel on Greenwell Springs.

Update:

Bears industries isn’t flooded and has 10lbs rip rap.

Pick up price minimum is 2 tons and that’s around 70 bucks. You don’t have to get 2 tons worth but they’ll still charge that price.

He is but he might know where you can get some. Or have access to a broken piece of concrete you could have.
