The first 20 minutes is about selling Betsy Ross t-shirts. Radio at its most riveting.

I can’t wait for the dunderheads to rush in here and set you straight. They are always so thoughtful in their critique.

I’m actually tired of him talking about it. But that’s just me.

Pimp, what he's doing is called a 'rap around'. When you don't sell enough ads to fill breaks you hawk the merchandise during live programming time so that it blends in with actual discussion of news.

But it has a level of diminishing returns. Eventually you lose a lot of audience.

His shirt has raised over $2 million to pay off mortgages for the families of fallen soldiers

You have an issue with that?

You aren't admitting you actually turn the radio on and dial it to Rush? And after doing all this you are disappointed. You should instead tune in a program that you like. Of all things to tune in when you don't like it, Rush Limbaugh.

No. I dropped my Rush listening time from 2 hours per day to 30 minutes a day for the past 3 weeks. I'll continue to avoid the show until he stops this shite. You have an issue with that?

Wrong. Rush has a great show. I've been listening since 1988 when he first appeared nationally. I simply listen to him until he starts with Betsy Ross. Then I turn it off and do something else till the next hour. If he mentions it in the next hour I turn it off and go to another task.

Oh in your brief introduction to this thread I wouldn't have thought you were a long time-listener but first time complainer.

Oh, I got hooked by accident. I was channel surfing in '88. I heard this guy say 'After the break we'll have a homeless update.'

I changed the channel and thought "Wow, another moron who believes Mitch Snyder's BS numbers."

After failing to find a song I liked it came back to his show and I heard him say 'And here is why all of Mitch Snyder's numbers are BS.'

I went 'Holy F*ing Sh*t...somebody else out there knows about it!' I've listened every day since then.

I was just yanking your chain a little bit. I've listened to him for a while but only a bit recently but I've heard some things about the shirt. Keep in mind Nike made the shoes and then Kaepernick Knixed them and that was perceived as being so cool by much of the nations. The Betsy Ross flag bad. Bad old wives of slave holders. And the west coast loves it and the football players and female soccer players kneel and shite on the US. So Rush is a little excited he can sell the kind of thing that Nike-Kaepernick (ultimate cool guy) nixed.

If you can remember my handle and come across it in a thread, you should yank my chain!

It happens to them all.

Even Howard Stern is now just a Long Island liberal conformist.

Well, I don't buy Nike shoes but I'll tell you the thing I hate about Kaepernick that nobody discusses. The guy really does not want to play football. Nobody walks away from a game that pays that kind of money in their prime age unless they really don't enjoy playing.

NFL owners realize this and they don't want a QB who doesn't display a love of the game to his teammates.

I said it before on the poli-board and got hammered for it, but I don't think rush has near the callers he used to.

Do you know how many callers he used to have? I'd have no idea.
