Dude deserved to have his feet pissed on for wearing flip flops in public. Running over flip flop offenders feet with a shopping car on accident is also a good tactic to stop the spread of this terrible footwear choice.

I wear shoes maybe two or three times a year. Flip flops the rest of the time.
