Going through something like this right now.
Guy I work with was bragging to me about 4 weeks ago about getting another job offer. Not even a week later he gets a doctor to sign off on an injury which he’s told my manager 2 different stories on how he hurt himself. 8 weeks off and I just found out he’s extending to long term disability. He never mentioned getting hurt to me one time. He was sure bragging about that new job offer.
I’m all for people getting blessed, but I have/had to cover for him 11 weeks before they are able to post his position.
