Personal story about American hate

I was at the Po-boy Express with the wife and my parents Thursday evening and all of a sudden, the National Anthem starts playing on one of the tv's there. It was a young girl singing the song, but I don't know what event it was associated with.
Soon into the rendition, a young black man who is cooking in the back, leaves his station and comes stand in front of the tv, arms crossed and a giant scowl on his face.
He stands there for a few seconds and shouts something to the black young lady in the back who I assume is also cooking, and she yells back," oh hell no!"
We were walking out when this transpired, so I don't know if they changed the channel, or what exactly happened once we left.
Have we come to the point in our counties history where the mere playing of our anthem causes people to be triggered?!

I don’t think you have enough info to justify sprinting to your keyboard to register your outrage.

Yes. It's been like that for a while.

Don’t know the context, but probably the chick was fat, or busy, and couldn’t take a knee....

What if he shouted “Dey showing 1/9/12 again!”?

What type of "info" do you detect to be missing?

Yes. It's International-style anti-American Leftism that the Democrats have indoctrinated their base with. They HATE American traditions, principles, ideals and Institutions. Including the national anthem and the US flag. This is no longer credibly debatable. Congratulations on the poboy though.

If you had seen his expression and heard the outrage in the woman's voice, you'd be saying differently. It was very apparent that the anthem was the cause of their agnst.

The fried chicken po-boy there is fantastic. So are the onion rings!

Ain’t nothing stopping them from leaving the country or from getting a better job other than a short order cook.

Let's face it, the only reason I don't think the OP is made up is because it is so pathetic.

The same gal who was outraged by the anthem would have been twerking to a song about ho slapping!

It's not that I don't remember, I didn't understand what he said.

Should have asked him to turn it up.

You know what I do these days? I wear a lot of Jimi Hendrix T-shirts.
Some people get it, some people don't.

But Hendrix played the anthem when it was still cool. Now it's a symbol of hatred, oppression and racism.

Assuming intent and applying motive with no context is what psychotic Progressives do. Don't fall into that trap.

So give me a better explanation for why he suddenly left his cooking station in the back of the restaurant and quickly came to stand in front of the tv, arms crossed and a scowling? And then the following," oh hell no" from the black girl?
I guess it was simply all coincidental?
