Really hate seeing familiar names that were once said to be headed to LSU on the list, but glad some tigers made it.
Also thought it was odd that 3 Bama WRs made the list before future 1st rounder, Justin Jefferson

Also comical that Fulton isn’t first team when he’s a pre season all-American.

Moses is a Fukin joke

No Divinity? This list is garbage!
Posted on 7/19/19 at 2:11 pm to CaptainPanic
I'll bet anything Phillips will be higher than 3rd team if he stays healthy
Posted on 7/19/19 at 2:19 pm to CaptainPanic
Wow! Frickin' overloaded with Alabama players!

I'm trying to look it up. Is Dylan Moses that good? Did he do anything last season to warrant his lofty preseason ranks or is he still riding his high school ranking curtails?

80% of the media in Hoover are Alabama beat writers.

So, pretty much their entire starting offense and defense is projected to be All SEC.
They should just throw all Bama players as first team, and let the other teams battle it out for second and third team honors.

I mean Moses was pretty good last season and is a good player. He’s projected a first round pick by nearly every site you look at for early mocks. It doesn’t fit the “frick Dylan Moses narrative though” and again frick Dylan Moses.
Posted on 7/19/19 at 2:28 pm to CaptainPanic
Damn, Bama has more First Team SEC players than LSU has on all three combined.

Lol
I’ve never seen anyone live so long on 9th grade hype
Being a LB for Bama gets a ton of hype too though
He made the correct choice though. Ride his 9th grade hype train till it runs out, hop on the every LB for Bama is an all American hype train.
All hype, not much substance.

Yeah. I hate to hear he's pretty good, because frick him. frick Dylan Moses.
Posted on 7/19/19 at 2:33 pm to tFearIsReal
He’s an average sec LB. Nothing more.

Looks like ANOTHER blowout loss to Bama this year according to Damone... which is what he is hoping for.

You have to understand that the amount of media members that cover Bama is more than any other school so there's going to be some bias. Nearly all of Bama's starting 22 make the teams.
To answer your question, Moses was #14 in the league in total tackles last season as a sophomore. Most of the guys ranked ahead of him either graduated or weren't linebackers. Jacob Phillips actually ended up with one more tackle but didn't make the top 20 for solo tackles.
eta. I would have put Harris from Arky on the first team LB spot but these preseason lists don't mean much.
