NFL Opening Day 2018 saw 4 LSU WRs on rosters, which was best for 3rd in the NFL.

Two of those are Landry and Beckham... in spite of Moffitt - not because of him.

Based on an offhanded comment in an interview. Which could have been an expression or exaggeration or mean any number of things. But the end result was clearly the used the jugs machines all the time.

The article your clutching onto literally says they wore it out.

Plus all these kids have access to the aJugs machines and Moffit isn’t the person making these decisions. He’s just organizing the efforts.

# of LSU WRs drafted since Moffit has been at LSU: 18
# of Clemson WRs drafted during same period: 14
# of Bama WRs drafted during same period: 8

And how many has LSU had drafted in the last 5 years? 3

Ohio State has had 8

Urban Meyer and S&C coach Mickey Mariotti were all about the Jugs machine... Meyer once fired Tom Herman for not getting the WRs Jugs reps. (yes, hired him back once Herman agreed to comply)

Good thing our WR coach knows the importance already and tweeted about it.

Some of these drops are more mental than physical

Dropping easy balls isn’t because you can’t catch it’s because you stop focusing on the ball and start focusing on what’s next.

There is a world where both jugs machines are used and WRs drop balls.

You should pass this info on to all the NFL pros doing 200, 300, 400 and more Jugs reps every day!!

Huge waste of time... LOL

check back when this current crop -- the crop you keep crapping on -- becomes draft eligible.

But, still, explain how Moffit's denial of skill equipment has resulted in putting 2x+ WRs in the NFL compared to Bama?

lol... LINK?

Your tardness related to JUGS is coming more into focus. This anecdote from Beckham/Landry 5 years ago has somehow fed a fantasy of yours that simultaneously:

1. shows how bad Tom Herman is.
2. shows how bad off Burrow is with underprepared WRs. built-in excuse.
3. shows how absurdly better off Haskins was last year with all these JUGSOVERLOADED WRs catching everything in sight. No wonder he was draft #15!

Moffitt should "move on" if he is blocking the use of the Jugs machines (even blocking it little bit).
The head coach you idolize so much doesn't seem to think so. Also seems like Coach O hasn't said a single thing to Moffitt about the jug machines.

You picked such a weird hill to die on, but I'm glad you did it. At first not everyone could see how terrible of a poster you are. Now it's blatantly obvious.

And quit misrepresenting what I told you about the jugs. The "by appointment" deal is for players who want to come way after hours(at night), not the players who want to take extra reps right after workouts/player practices end. If anything the players should be taking their reps immediately after workouts when they are dead tired. Similar to the way basketball players shoot their free throws after suicides.

Did I say that they aren’t important?

I said they aren’t going to fix mental errors.

They will improve your ability to catch but if your not focused on catching what good does that do?

You’re the fake insider ignoring what the actual WR coach is saying.

Cool

Please post an article about LSU WRs not using jugs machines

Do not post an article about 2 that used them all the time.

I’ll go ahead and link you to a post from our WR coach talking about jugs machines.

LSU was dead last in drops in the SEC last year, and 57th worst in the 65 Power-5 teams.

You can ignore that? I can't. You are now claiming 30 receivers are getting Jugs reps DURING Moffitt's workouts? Really?

This buckeye dude is a rare breed of something, for someone to be wrong as much as he is, you would think they would admit it every now and then, hell I do it all the time, this guy just can't do it

It's the same type of narcissism that Ree demonstrates. He's never wrong.

No wonder people think they're the same person.

Right Slick. A tweet from May 2 that says, "Heard this new “vibe” out there called Jugs Machine. You should go check it out! Let me know how it is!" - then 2 dead links

lol... cool story bro.

1. Tom Herman obviously wasn't fired.
2. Devin Smith sounds lazy.
3. That guy likes telling a good story.
4. What does Urban Meyer's belief in JUGS machines have to do with you still failing to prove that Moffit is hindering our WRs?

Onus still on you to provide some proof.

I've provided proof that LSU has done a damn good job cranking out WRs since Moffit has been here.

What you got?

No it says “Jugs Machines”

Specifically those words and that order

So I don't Think there is literally anything else he could be talking about.

Butnyeah I guess He doesn’t really care about them.

I mean Odell and Jarvis were smashing windows, picking locks disabling security systems to get to them 6 years ago.

It’s a weird manufactured crisis.

Oh yeah. Herman was fired. If he hadn't immediately shaped up, he was history.

Did you even listen to the podcast? Meyer was furious.

LSU - Dead last in the SEC in drops in '18.

57th of 65 Power-5 teams in drops in '18.

Offseason WR development is horrific - not just bad.
