Best Buy employees don’t work on commission but watch out for brand vendors that dress like employees but actually work for HP, Dell, etc
They will push their product and they do make commission. Many times they will wear a Best Buy shirt with their company logo on it.

Yeah there was an HP person there today who was actually helpful and no pressure. It was the blue shirt Best Buy employee who was high pressure.
I went in to look at the in person size/weight difference between the 15.6 inch laptops and 13 inch laptops. Basically you have to choose between performance or size. Left the store with the aim to buy a 13.3 inch, 15.6 is just too big and I prefer more portability over performance. I can do the performance stuff on my desktop.
My Surface Pro 3 finally crapped out on me after 4 years

Yep, there are often brand vendors there to sell one brand.
