The talk on the Bama games starts around the 3 minute mark.

Jimmy talks LSU football with Bobby Hebert & Kristian Garic

Gives his thoughts on the 40, 50, 60 per game comment made by Jeaux.

Also talks about how having Chaisson back will help the DE's tremendously.

Buddy D is/was Jimmy Detail's uncle.

In order to beat Bama, we don't just have to score more than them, but we actually have to score.

Nothing to do with Jimmy, but I wish we would stop hyping the Bama game.

I've seen coaches make similar comments.

I think we will beat them again when we stop hyping it up so much more than the other games. I recognize it's hard to not be more exited for this game, but we've lost enough in a row. Seems like every year we say this may be the year.

I would like to see the coaches and players treat this game like the others, because I feel like we press and are too afraid to make a mistake in this game. Just relax and open it up.

Just my opinion though.

So what’s your record prediction?

We never could get one from you last year but maybe you feel more confident in the team this year?

I agree with Jimmy. I picked LSU over Bama too.

1) LSU's defense
2) The Spread/RPO
3) Burrow running it
4) More experienced receivers running short routes
5) Bama's loss of Locksley/Gattis
6) Saban's hire of Sarkisian
7) Tua's injuries from 2018

Let’s beat Texas first then try to get better instead of getting by every week until Bama.

Well, he's absolutely correct and everyone on here knows that this is LSU's best chance in awhile to stop this streak. They have an experienced, talented QB and as always a shite load of talent on offense with really good, big, strong and talented WR's this year for him to throw to. The RB depth is good, the only concern of course is at the OL positions as always, they need to step up and stop letting Alabama bully them around, I know it's easier said than done. But with the talented Chaisson coming back and a solid defense behind him with AA Delpit leading the secondary, this season is the season to hand these people a loss and start turning this ship around.
