What is harder at Tex-Mex restaurant...eating no chips at all or stopping at seven chips?

As you may recall, my assistant, Dhillip, has an unhealthy addiction to tortilla chips. Upon his return last month, I took him to see my doctor who is very aggressive when it comes to diet. Anyhow, she told him he needs to lay off the queso and chips among other things...but she acknowledged that the D-man immediately going cold turkey on chips was too drastic...so she asked that he stop at 5-7 chips.

So, I took him to a local Tex-Mex joint (I would rather not say the name of the place)...and the Molina's waitress immediately brought out the chips and salsa. Keep in mind that I am completely off chips. I gave them up for Lent, binged hard on Easter Sunday and haven't had them since.

I watched him scarf down seven chips in a matter of seconds...he reached for an 8th chip, thinking I wasn't counting, but I quickly pulled the basket away. He started to get fidgety, his hands shaking and I saw him start to sweat.

I had to go to the bathroom but held it in because I knew what would happen if I left the table. He tried to order Chicken nachos for his main entree but I shot that down.

This is the second time I have been to a Tex-Mex joint since Easter and I have twice been able to refrain from eating chips. I think stopping at seven chips is akin to torture...
