Video card and SSD are a must

Biggest things you need to worry about are PSU wattage and case size

i would agree with a video card but is a SSD really necessary or is it a "nice to have" type of component? unless there's something else to them, the only thing you get out of it is faster boot/load times.

PSU most definitely. i forgot store bought PCs have a relatively low wattage limit.
