Overall revenue, if they are talking equal pay, surely they mean for everyone. In everything. Not just themselves.

Ad revenue for mens world cup is more than women's. More money comes in from men's world cup than for women's. More eyes are on men.

So the point is, men..in any country, in any sport..are more celebrated, watched and bring in more money because of this.

This team could dominate for 2 decades and it's still a novelty. But if the Mens US soccer team did that..it would be insane.

It seems like the women are using equal pay for PR, they know they won’t get paid the same as the men. They should however get more than they do now based on ticket sales and other revenues they bring in.
