I didn’t watch this particular video yet, but I’ve watched a zillion Jordan Peterson, Dave Rubin, Eric and Bret Weinstein, Shapiro, Harris, Pragur, etc etc vids, and I understand this topic quite well.
Much worse will happen here before the full concept of communism happens. And, I don’t think whatever does ultimately happen here will ever be labeled as communism even if it were close. It’ll be something new that doesn’t correlate enough with Marxist vision to be communism.

It's summer time. I just saw a clip from the Dept of Energy. They recommend that you set your thermostat no lower than 78 degrees. When we have communism these won't be recommendations. Your thermostat will be controlled by the state.

Alright, fair enough. You seem to be saying that there is a commonality among the forces that are driving us to something “much worse” than communism.
How do you describe that common force? What is the motivation? What do you think it should be called?

It’ll be a totalitarian oligarchy with Progressive Collectivists in control.
The donor class isn’t handing shite over to the government to own and run. So the donors and politicians will continue their symbiotic relationship and simply try to devise better ways to pool wealth to them.
The idiot sheeple on the Left just don’t realize this is more easily done through “equality of outcome”, which destroys competition, and ensures those at the top don’t have to compete anymore and they can just reap the benefits of monopolies.
I don’t know. Maybe they’ll go with “Democratic Socialism”.

I heard an interview about wealth yesterday and the dudes main point was that wealth, for the most part, is created when we are trying to help others, as in services, products, and general motivations. Such a great contrast to the envy-laden wealth destroying prog filth.

Well that’s the beauty of it. The flow of goods and services at market prices, constantly exercising our freedom and improving our lives through voluntary transactions that benefit both parties.
A guy like Ralph Wiggum is personally offended by greed. I get that and to an extent I am too . I’d PREFER to see people curb their materialist appetites and share the wealth to the improvement of their communities . But I understand that has to be VOLUNTARY. As soon as that is COMPELLED, mankind descends into madness, violence etc.
