still don't understand calling for a helicopter to fly back to FL in the middle of the night if there was a medical emergency that couldn't wait. That would seem to take quite a few hours considering waiting on the copter arrival, loading everyone on board and then taking the flight. Wouldn't it have been more prudent to call medics or some other emergency outfit which services that area to come help?
It was his helicopter and it was with him the entire time. Google Earth his island and you will see a ton of crew/staff quarters on the south side while his mansion sits on the north. What you don't see is a very well defined helicopter landing pad, though there are plenty of areas large enough and that pic could have been taken many months ago.
Medical help out there, at night, would be shakier than a coyote trying to shite a persimmon seed.

Give us a pin.
And I thought the Helicopter flew from North Palm Beach County Airport and picked them up. It wasn't there at the time.

Perhaps I'm confused because the witness said he saw the helicopter arrive and land and then take off 30 minutes later. I assumed the copter came from somewhere else even though it was his.

Eyewitness statement says it flew in a half hour before the crash. There is a lot of conflicting info here, though, admittedly.

That is a really specific amount of shakiness.
