I don't think that them lowering the creel limit has anywhere near the impact on the fishery as the hard freezes in 2017 and the amount of freshwater intrusion from spring rains that the lake has had the last 5 years.

too many here arent interested in the truth or facts, they are mad they cant catch 25 fish limits so they want to prevent everyone else from doing it out of spite and jealousy.

numerous scientific research studies and data collection has shown that reducing creel limits creates too many predators and they quickly decimate the food stocks. so a short term one or two year abundance quickly turns into food shortages that stunt fish growth and sizes.

it has the exact opposite result then intended in that it increases undersized fish numbers while preventing fish the food they need to grow larger. its all there if anyone cared enough to research it.

but muh, if i cant catch 25 nobody should be allowed to

the average person spends $100-$150 per fishing trip, at a 25 fish limit thats $4-$6 per fish it cost you to catch it assuming you even catch a limit.

now reduce that to 15 limit and if you catch a limit it costs you almost $10 per fish to catch.

you are all doing a better job at stopping people from fishing then PETA ever hoped for when you make fish cost more then its worth to catch them

You're so wrong about this. Not hating at all about people who cant catch their limits. It's just very wasteful and unnecessary to have a 25 fish limit per person each day. Nobody needs that much fish.
