Stingley, Emery, Thomas, Palmer, Davis, Lee, Perry, Starks from last year.

Damn near all of our Louisiana signings are from South Louisiana.

Just like California isn't loyal to USC, UCLA, etc., or Baltimore to UM, or Virginia to VT, or ...

... or forget it.

My son wants to play for LSU right now (and we would be thrilled). But if he's fortunate enough to get that level of interest over the next year, and he wants to go to Bama, and I'm convinced his reasons are sound, then I give my blessing.

How could a parent tell a son not to play for Saban? Because you're so emotionally stunted that "state loyalty"
- this is Louisiana we're talking about - wins out over all other considerations?

They go where the players are. They scout all the way down to the middle school levels.

If you think Sam Petito joined the bama staff for his coaching merits you’re a moron. Guy was brought on to land Tangipahoa area kids and recruit a guy like Sanders to funnel money and influence. Now that the well of talent has dried up you won’t hear much about sanders anymore, the same way the handler in Thibodeaux vanished after Trovon Reed and Greg Robinson went to Auburn.

The worst thing possible is bama getting inroads at two Baton Rouge schools in U High and Southern Lab. That’s absolutely inexcusable.

The attrition has to come from somewhere when people stay longer than expected.

Also just because they are in the transfer portal, doesn’t mean they have left campus nor that they will.

I have not cried about anything. I have laughed at you a whole lot the last couple of days.

You are the one who is constantly crying like a young girl over a class that has already had 11 first year players contribute and start.

A class that had 11 players participate and at least 7 first time starters last season - QB, two WR's, DB, two OL, LB - and that't not counting Fehoko, Avery Atkins and Cole Tracy who were all first year players/starters.

At least 10 starters in their first season from that class and you are crying because players like Rashard Lawrence, Breiden Fehoko, Kristian Fulton, etc, etc were convinced to stay and LSU has had to find ways to get to the limit of 85 scholarship players.
