The last can’t miss prospect from Barbe is also a starter for the Washington Redskins. The last from Washington-Marion (Melvin Jones) could be in the NFL but he flunked out of LSU after two years of not caring and having kids back home.

Calcasieu Parish's deseg plan was always built around majority to minority and plenty of out of zone kids go to Barbe (athletes or not)

I went to Barbe and I lived off Hwy 14 and Legion St. I ran track and played football. Graduated with a 3.4 gpa. Got TOPS and did my thing. God is good. I’m a H-Town baby, so moving to LC was the best thing that happened to me. I met my wife of 14+ years in LC.

Citizen is just as good. I was being dramatic of course, but Anthonys versatility on both sides and athleticism is great right now and has power to boot.

Will be an early marquee game. Winner looks like they set themselves up nicely for a deep playoff run. Although both probably make at least the second round regardless.
