Drove me nuts seeing us at only 2 championships. We would have beaten USC if the BCS had matched us up.

#11 all time is nice, my guess would have been 12 or 13.

We have 3 titles, should have won a fourth in 2011, and then who knows what we would have been able to accomplish had we won that title in 2011. We could have ended up being 6-7th best team in college football history

Not just “ours” but the best team ever. No team will ever again accomplish what the 2011 LSU team did.

We beat the NC on the road
We beat the Rose Bowl Champion at a neutral site
We beat the Orange Bowl Champion on the road
We beat the Cotton Bowl Champion at home

All while running through the best conference in the country. Without the Bama mulligan and Okie State getting politically screwed we win it walking away and easily go down as the GOAT in college football. At the very least we should have gotten a split Championship that year.

Notre Dame at #4 is just absurd. Nobody cares about their wins in the 40s. They really haven’t been relevant in decades. Oh there was that one time they got their arse handed to them by Bama because they honestly had no business being in that game but other than that, they haven’t done anything

That and the 2011 Bama team, in my opinion were the two best teams ever. Both teams were so insanely loaded with NFL talent.

ignorance

A few examples of ND's " really haven’t been relevant in decades" victories.

well, when the articles specifically states “since 1936”, then yeah all the old stuff matters.
