It is ridiculous to have those guys on TV with the wrong hats on. There must be a huge contract with the hat company.

It’s incredibly stupid
I think the technical reason is LAL can’t officially pick up rookie options on Ingram and Lonzo until the 6th and as such they can’t trade a player they don’t have under contract.

The nba gets a lot of things right but for the average casual fan - player movement appears to be a cluster frick.
The draft pick trades, a lot of free agency/exemptions/cap...
If you aren’t an nba fan but are in Nola and want to enjoy the big night; the leagues created a lot of hurdles
